Security Solutions of Niagara has been in operation since May 2018
Prior to being acquired by co-owners Detective Paul Kudela and Officer Jason Haug, Security Solutions of Niagara was operated under the name KJR Security which had been in operation since 2010. Most of our current employees at Security Solutions were previously employed by KJR Security, including both Paul and Jason. For KJR Security, Jason was tasked with managing all day to day operations of the business to include payroll, scheduling and personnel management. Paul was a part-time employee working at multiple sites as a security officer. While the name of our business is new, we both have extensive experience in the application and operation of a security firm.
Paul and Jason are both full time employees of Niagara Falls Police Department. Our experience in law enforcement spans 19 years combined. We have both completed the New York State Basic Course for Police as well as several other advanced trainings in our tenure as Police Officers. In addition to our police education, both Paul and Jason possess Master’s Degrees in Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

The foundation of our business is our employees and we are proud to say that we employ highly trained and trusted off-duty New York State certified Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, and Parole and Probation Officers.
We are even more proud of the fact that our off-duty police officers have full-time employment with the Niagara Falls Police Department.
Every officer we employ has been the subject of a background check by their respective police departments and are fully authorized to carry a firearm. They are also mandated to qualify with and maintain their firearm. Furthermore, each officer must maintain a satisfactory level of physical fitness for their full-time employment, which is something we require and strive for as well. Our business partners love that their security officers have local knowledge and a vested interest in their community.

Security Solutions of Niagara, LLC is a locally owned and operated armed security company employing off-duty Niagara Falls Police Department Police Officers, as well as Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Lewiston Police Department Officers, Town of Niagara Police Officers and New York State and Niagara County Parole and Probation Officers. All our employees are New York State certified and trained Police Officers.
